Outliers host Thunderbirds for three game set

The Utah Outliers are set to play host to the Las Vegas Thunderbirds this weekend in an important three game series. The nine points that are up for grabs are critical for both teams as they look to climb the standings in their respective divisions.

The Outliers (14-5-0) are coming off a two-game series against the Ogden Mustangs. The Outliers were victorious in the first game, defeating the Mustangs 4-3 but the Mustangs bounced back the next night and got their revenge winning by a score of 4-2.

Vegas and Utah are both second in their divisions and have played against opponents from each other’s division.  The Outliers swept the Valencia Flyers and the Thunderbirds were swept by the Ogden Mustangs. This will be a good test for both teams as they look to make a statement and it will be interesting to see how they stack up against one another.

Friday puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM in West Valley, at the Acord Ice Center. Saturday night's game will be played at 7:30 PM at the County Ice Center in Murray. Sunday will start at 12:00 PM back at the Acord Ice Center.
