by Website Admin

The WSHL has announced that the Northern Colorado Eagles will host the 2020 WSHL Thorne Cup Finals at the Ice Haus in Greeley, Colorado. The Ice Haus is a 1,600 seat facility with two private boxes and is located in beautiful downtown Greeley, Colorado, surrounded by over 50 restaurants, bars, shops, and hotels within walking distance of the arena. This will be the first League Championship held in Northern Colorado for Jr. 'A' Tier 2 hockey.

The WSHL Thorne Cup event will take place March 31st - April 4th, 2020, and will feature the final six WSHL teams remaining in the Western States Hockey League Playoffs. The finals are a two-flight, modified round-robin-style, with each team guaranteed three games.

Our Utah Outliers will begin their quest for a Thorne Cup title by getting an early look at the Northern Colorado Eagles as we begin our season with a three-game series in Greeley. This will prove to be a good test for the team and an opportunity to get familiar with the WSHL Thorne cup host.
