The Utah Outliers will begin their 2020-21 training camp on Sept 7th at the Maverik Center in West Valley, UT.

The Outliers are celebrating their 5th anniversary as they begin their first season of play in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). The Outliers will play in the Mountain Division which includes the Ogden Mustangs, Provo Riverblades, Northern Colorado Eagles, and the Pueblo Bulls. The Outliers will also play games against teams in the Pacific Division, along with a showcase on the east coast.

The Outliers seek to continue their strong winning tradition and assert themselves as a top team in the USPHL. In each of the past four seasons Utah has managed to post a 30+ win season, and they look to continue that dominant streak heading into the 2020-21 season.

The roster this season will have a blend of returning players along with some new faces. The team has some key players with offensive firepower returning, along with stout defenders on the back end. The biggest hole to be filled with this season's team is the loss of all-star goalie Oscar Wahlgren, who has moved on to play NCAA hockey with Curry College.

The team is excited to welcome players from Florida, Tennessee, Illinois, Oregon, Minnesota, Utah, Wisconsin, Indiana, Sweden, Russia, Hungary, Austria, and Latvia. With a core group of returners mixing with the new talent, this is shaping up to be another strong team for the Outliers.
