The Utah Outliers came away with three wins this past weekend for a series sweep against the Southern Oregon Spartans. The two clubs faced each other for the first time since late November and the Outliers picked up where they left off a few months ago.

On Friday, the Outliers defeated the Spartans by a score of 8-0. The Outliers started quickly and never took their foot off the gas as the cruised to victory. The team once again showed their offensive abilities and depth of scoring with six different goal scorers on the night.

The Outliers' goal scorers were Nikitan Adrusenko (2), Dawson Armstrong (2), Nash Hatcher (1), Helvis Rudzajs (1), Xavier Erickson (1) and Jett Arminen (1).

Oscar Wahlgren added to his league-leading shutout count and is now at nine blanking efforts due to the 17 saves made on Friday.

On Saturday, the Outliers continued to press offensively and owned most of the puck possession and offensive zone time. Once again, the team found the net eight times for an 8-2 win and the goal-scoring was shared amongst seven different players with newly acquired Vojtech Svoboda leading the way with two goals.

Wahlgren earned a second win in as many nights with only nine saves required on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Outliers bombarded the Spartans showing no mercy and accumulated a whopping fifteen goals for a 15-3 victory. From the drop of the puck, the Outliers swarmed the Spartans and put on an offensive clinic for sixty minutes.

Jett Arminen and Trent Gephart each had hat tricks. Arminen registered multiple points in all three games and almost had a hat trick on Friday.

The Outliers will travel to Washington State next weekend to play the Seattle Totems.
