Weekend Preview: Valencia Flyers November 8-10, 2019

The Utah Outliers are prepared for this weekend as they host the Valencia Flyers. After sweeping the West Sound Warriors last weekend, the Outliers are hoping to ride that momentum into this weekend's series. A weekend sweep is vital for Utah as they continue to secure second place in the Northwest Division. 

The Valencia Flyers come into the weekend series looking for their first win of the 2019-20 season. The team is led offensively by forwards Nikita Garin and Leon Biller along with defenseman Krill Gordiychuk. Goaltending duties have been shared between Brooks DiMarno and Brendan Culbertson-Bond. 

The Outliers have shown an offensive surge over the past six games and are now second in the entire WSHL for goals scored. The team is led offensively by the forward line of Ben Doherty, Josh Harrell and Trent Gephart. Defenseman Jakub Lelek leads all defenseman in points and is second on the team in scoring. Goaltender Oskar Wahlgren continues to show his WSHL dominance boasting a 2.02 GAA and a .930 SV %. 

Come out this weekend and support your Outliers this weekend at the Acord Ice Center. Friday’s game will begin at 7:00 PM, Saturday start time is scheduled for 6:30 and Sunday at 12:00 PM.
