Outliers and Mustangs meet again at Teddy Bear Toss

Tonight, December 14, 2019, marks the second annual Teddy Bear Toss charity game against the Ogden Mustangs! This special night is packed with fun, fast paced action and charity!

The Teddy Bear Toss is a popular and entertaining event that is unique to ice hockey. It allows fans to participate during the game while giving back to our local community this holiday season. Fans are encouraged to bring a new or lightly used teddy bear to the game or buy one at the door. When the Utah Outliers score their first goal of the game, fans throw the stuffed toys onto the ice in celebration and in donation! The toys are gathered up from the ice, and in partnership with Silicon Slopes Serves and the Utah Highway Patrol, the toys will be given to underprivileged local children for the holidays.

"We are happy to partner with Silicon Slopes and the Utah Highway Patrol for this great cause, "said Outliers Director of Hockey Operations, Kevin McCloskey. We are looking forward to a great game and being part of charity to support children. The Teddy Bear Toss was a marquee event for our team last season and we hope to build on the tradition this season."

Fans are encouraged to wear their ugly Christmas sweater, bring teddy bears and join us for the fun. Game time is 6:30 PM at the Acord Ice Center in West Valley!
